Trompe L'Oeil
Frank Latorre has been an artist all his life . He
began drawing at the age of 5 and never stopped. In the early
seventies he picked up an air brush a month later one of his
airbrush works won first place at the Nassau Coliseum custom car
show. He continued to airbrush cars and motorcycles some of his
clients were the Prince of Iran and the owner of Easyrider Magazine.
His works were published in many custom bike and hot rod issues. by
the late 80s he became fascinated with the art of sandblasted glass
. a new way to create art went on until the late 90s . Frank

etching art was seen and mentioned in The New York Times , Newsday
and many other publications. By 2000 Frank returned to the
paintbrush and is at present creating wall murals and fine art on
canvas . With 35 plus years as a diversified artist he is constantly
reaching for new challenges . The work seen here is the result of
his many different mediums and styles . Frank is painting in oils
now and loving it!
